NextEra Energy Services, LLC (Gexa) is a subsidiary of NextEra, a major energy producer and investor in recent years in renewable resource. One of the larger retail electric providers under the Gexa name with some 280,000 customers, Gexa does offer cost-competitive renewable energy services in Texas, but does not appear to offer pro-solar solutions like community solar or net-metering and does not appear to offer innovative time-of-use policies.
